I started photography because
I wanted to learn how to see. The one thing about any
photograph is you have to stop for a moment, look carefully,
observe everything that you are seeing inside the frame,
and then try and fix it in memory and on film.
Up until now, I have avoided
digital photography, Photoshop, and in general manipulations
of visual reality. That forces me to see more clearly
and hopefully more deeply.
